New Generation Industries, LLC, presents “Kenaf Road”mats manufactured in Texas for the Regional Oil
& Gas Exploration Industry as well as commercial construction sites.
These mats constitute a new
environmentally and economically sound approach to getting heavy
equipment and loads in and out of difficult drilling locations and
commercial construction sites. The mats do not come out of our
forests either directly or indirectly. They are a renewable
product of Texas farmers, growing the annual hibiscus crop called
“Kenaf”. Plastic resin is added to bond the natural fibers and
make them “Texas Tough!”
Why buy or lease “Kenaf Road” mats from NGI?
The “Kenaf Road” mats are durable and re-usable. These mats have
a minimum amount of plastic resin, avoiding the cost, heaviness,
slickness, and static electricity problems associated with “plastic”
mats. They are less than 5 inches thick and an 8-ft by 12-ft mat weighs 1,600 lbs – about half the thickness and a good 500 lb lighter than an equivalent oak mat. They are easy to
clean, haul, and stack. Unlike wood mats, they don’t soak up
water. The kenaf mats are not affected by termites and do not
burn unless subjected to intense heat.
